4th July 2020 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 25-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot surf Air Temperature: 15ºC Sea Temperature: 15ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Waited all day for the rain to clear and the wind to fill in. It started to do so around 3pm so I headed over and rigged my 5.7m sail and big wave board. Started off wiuth just enough on the inside but plenty out the back. The wind then gradually picked up while I was out until I was way overpowered out the back and nicely powered on the beach. Some nice steep waves for some big jumps. Col and Mike were out kite-surfing. There was even a bikini clad girl to gybe around at one point! Good session and well worth waiting for. |
